well-known for its magnificent cathedral, large and varied shopping
centres and fashionable pubs and nightclubs. Peterborough is also
extremely well situated for direct connections by train and bus
to several major cities (e.g. Peterborough to London King's Cross
45 minutes direct). Other attractions include ice skating, bowling,
a multiplex cinema and numerous other big city facilities.
Rutland
County: Bordering
the county of Lincolnshire is England's smallest county - Rutland.
A five-mile drive outside Stamford will take you into Rutland with
its beautiful rolling countryside, picturesque villages and quaint
shops and watering-holes. Also visit Rutland Water, Europe's largest
reservoir, where visitors can take part in sailing, wind-surfing,
