Throughout
the academic year from September to June, CHILC offers classes
for all the Cambridge University EFL exams. The type of work available
to students taking these courses is necessarily dependant on the
level English.
Part
of the CHILC 'Learn and Work' service is to assist the student
in locating and securing the most appropriate employment according
to the English language level. CHILC has the distinct advantage
of being a family-run business and the majority of our staff have
lived in the town of Stamford for over 20 years.
We
have established ourselves as the premier language school within
a 40-mile radius and have excellent connections with literally
dozens of employers, not only in Stamford town itself but also
in the surrounding villages, towns and cities.
Since
we started running the 'Learn and Work' programme two years ago,
we have invariably found that the employers have been delighted
with the quality of student-employee we have sent them - so much
so that more and more work placements are now available.
