Beginner to Pre-Intermediate Level English - KET

Cambridge University Key English Test

Timetable: 15 hours per week (Monday to Friday).


Course Content

Skills: Reading - Writing - Speaking - Listening.
Focus Areas: Grammar - Vocabulary.


Examination Practice Continues throughout the Course


The KET examination can be taken at the end of every term.

Language: Level 1:

  • Greetings Names and ages - and asking questions
  • Talking about yourself and your family
  • Describing objects and places
  • Talking about where you live
  • Daily routines - saying what people do
  • In a restaurant - food and drink
  • At the market - asking how much
  • Days of the week, months, seasons, weather
  • Talking in the past tense
  • Comparing

Language Level 2:

  • Talking about family and other relationships
  • Describing journeys, talking about transport
  • Present continuous - talking about now
  • Likes and dislikes
  • Present perfect - saying what has just happened
  • Talking about quantity - too much, not enough
  • At the doctor's - aches, pains and illnesses
  • Giving advice and instructions
  • Past continuous - talking about past events
  • Future forms - talking about intentions and plans
